Join us on Saturday November 8, 2025, for an inspiring day of learning and engagement at the Peace Brigades International (PBI) Insight Day. This free training day will focus on human rights, non-violent accompaniment, consensus-based decision-making processes, and the vital work of human rights defenders.
In addition to these subjects, you’ll have the opportunity to delve into what it means to be a PBI volunteer in the Netherlands or in one of our project countries: Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico. With over 40 years of successful accompaniment of human rights defenders, PBI has a unique approach in the human rights sector. Through informal and interactive group exercises, you will gain a deep understanding of our methods and learn from the fieldwork experiences of our trainers. If you’re interested in becoming a field volunteer yourself, this is the perfect opportunity to ask any questions!
